Minnesota has roughly fourteen weeks of legitimate summer. Anyone who has spent a July evening on a screen porch knows the cost: 10,000 lakes is also 10,000 mosquito habitats, and the bugs find you on every dock, every patio, every backyard fire pit.
We started Zips because the off-the-shelf options didn't fit. Big national franchises bring in synthetic pyrethroids that wash into watersheds. The lawn-care companies bundle mosquito control as an afterthought. And nobody locally was doing certified install of the patented Mosquito Magician system — the lab-tested, botanical-oil-based formula we already trusted on our own properties.
So we did it. Today Zips is the authorized Minnesota reseller and certified installer for Mosquito Magician.
Why we don't sell what the franchise sells.
Most spray services use synthetic pyrethroids — broad-spectrum insecticides that harm pollinators and wash into Minnesota watersheds. We chose a different path on day one.
